fizik zet zijn avontuur met GORE-TEX voort. Een jaar na de lancering van de modellen TEMPO ARTICA GTX en TERRA ARTICA GTX presenteert het Italiaanse schoenen- en zadelmerk dit najaar het model ERGOLACE GTX. Deze nieuwe schoenen zijn ideaal voor korte of lange ritten in nat weer en houden je voeten warm en – vooral – droog tijdens de herfst- en wintermaanden. Een tweede model voor nog koudere dagen wordt eind oktober gepresenteerd.

fizik breidt zijn assortiment mountainbikeschoenen uit voor het rijden in koudere en vochtigere omstandigheden. Voor zijn nieuwste model werkt de Italiaanse fietsschoenenfabrikant opnieuw samen met de membraanspecialist GORE-TEX. Het resultaat, de gloednieuwe fizik ERGOLACE GTX, is veelzijdig en geschikt voor alle soorten mountainbiken, met name trailrijden, maar noemt ook gravel en bike packing als belangrijkste disciplines. Het semi-permeabele, drielaagse PRISM 3L membraan is 100 procent ondoordringbaar voor de elementen buiten, maar laat vocht en gecondenseerd zweet van binnenuit door – wat resulteert in een droog en comfortabel klimaat.

Het slijtvaste bovenwerk van geweven ripstop stof is bestand tegen schuren en scheuren, terwijl een PU-gelamineerde neus en verstevigingen aan de zijkanten zorgen voor extra bescherming en duurzaamheid.

Naast het GORE-TEX membraan is de fizik ERGOLACE GTX schoen uitgerust met VIBRAM zolen voor betere grip en verkrijgbaar voor zowel platte als clipless pedalen, waardoor het een goede keuze is voor alle bike & hike momenten. Voor extra comfort omsluit de ergonomische structuur van de schoen de voet perfect en sluit hij goed aan dankzij het slimme vetersysteem.

Zoals bij elk model heeft fizik het silhouet speciaal ontworpen om de bulk te verminderen en de opgeblazen look van veel mountainbikeschoenen te vermijden, wat betekent dat de fizik ERGOLACE GTX klaar is om op te gaan in de bewoonde wereld als de backcountrymissies voorbij zijn.

De combinatie van het GORE-TEX membraan en het specifieke ontwerp van fizik maakt de ERGOLACE GTX modellen uniek op de markt. Deze duurzame mountainbikeschoen maakt het door 2022 geïnitieerde motto “voor goede ritten bij slecht weer” echt waar.

Het nieuwe model is verkrijgbaar in twee kleuren (zwart/antraciet en zwart/wit ijs), met EU-maten van 36 tot 48.

fizik continues its adventure with GORE-TEX. A year after launching the TEMPO ARTICA GTX and TERRA ARTICA GTX models, the Italian shoe and saddle brand presents the ERGOLACE GTX model this fall. These new shoes are ideal for short or long ride-outs in wet weather, keeping your feet warm and – above all – dry during the fall and winter months. A second model for even colder days will be presented at the end of October.

fizik expands its range of mountain bike footwear for riding in colder and more humid conditions. For its latest model the Italian bike shoe manufacturer collaborates again with the membrane specialist, GORE-TEX. The result, the brand-new fizik ERGOLACE GTX, is versatile and suitable for all types of mountain biking, especially trail riding, but also cites gravel and bike packing as the main disciplines. The semi-permeable, three-layer PRISM 3L membrane is 100 percent impermeable to the elements outside, while allowing moisture and condensed sweat to pass the membrane from the inside – resulting in a dry and comfortable climate.

Ready for the rough stuff, the hardwearing upper made of woven ripstop fabric resists abrasion and tearing while a PU-laminated toecap and side reinforcements add further protection and durability.

In addition to its GORE-TEX membrane, the fizik ERGOLACE GTX shoe is equipped with VIBRAM soles for improved grip and available for flat as well as clipless pedals, making it a good choice for any bike & hike moments. For additional comfort, the shoe’s ergonomic structure perfectly envelops the foot and secures the fit with its smart lacing system.

As for every model, fizik designed the silhouette specifically to reduce bulk and avoid the puffy look of many mountain bike shoes, meaning the fizik ERGOLACE GTX is ready to blend in with civilization when backcountry missions are over. 

The combination of the GORE-TEX membrane and fizik’s specific design makes the ERGOLACE GTX models unique on the market. This durable mountain bike shoe truly lives up to the 2022-initiated motto “for good rides in bad weather”.

The new model is available in two colors (black/anthracite and black/white ice), with sizes EU ranging from 36 to 48.
